There are a number of book groups running. These groups normally meet by rotation in
members' houses. The books chosen can be religious, spiritual, autobiographical, fiction
or other themes and usually involve much discussion with an opportunity for social time as
well. If you would like to participate or know more, or start your own group, please
contact the Church Office.
DISCUSSION BASED PROGRAMMES
From time to time a discussion based programme is run under titles such as 'Living
the Questions' or 'Reading Allowed'. These are an open-minded
alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers and instead
strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in
exploring what is next for Christianity. If you would like to register an interest in a
programme, please contact the Church Office.
'LIFE & WORK'
The monthly magazine of the Church of Scotland is distributed to members at a very
reasonable subscription. If you would like to be included on the distribution list,
please contact the Church Office.
